Customer and item names Fuzzy — also tolerate small spelling differences and partial names (“Workstation” and “Workstation Management”) Exact — names must be the same once cleaned up; no spelling tolerance Both modes clean names up first: they ignore case and punctuation, read “&” as “and”, drop a leading “The” and trailing words like Inc, LLC, Corp, Co, Group or Agency from customer names, and expand common abbreviations (M365 → Microsoft 365, Svr → Server, Sq → Square, St → Street).

Fuzzy match strictness 0.80 Lower matches more aggressively. “Acme Corp” and “Acme Corporation” match at any setting; 0.80 keeps “Business Premium” and “Business Standard” apart.
